We're All in this Together- How the EPA Collaborative Problem Solving Model Can Support Environmental Justice

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

In this session you will learn about and utilize the U.S. EPA’s Collaborative Problem-Solving Model (CPS), formatted specifically for educators. CPS is used for addressing environmental justice (EJ) by using the knowledge, resources, and lived experiences of people both directly and indirectly affected by an EJ problem. This model provides guidance on collaboration and communication between all of these people and can create conditions that enable them as a community unit to secure the resources necessary to produce effective, efficient, community appropriate, and/or long-term solutions to their EJ problem.
